In addition, defense costs are also covered. The premium for Workers Compensation is based on a rate applied per classification per $100 of payroll for that classification. The premium is the modified to reflect your firm's individual loss experience.

The Compensation Law is compulsory for:
1. Private employers who regularly employ at least one person for 35 or more hours per week for a period of 13 weeks or longer during the preceding 52 weeks (including domestic servants)
2. All public employers (including elected officials)
